SOMETIMES BRUSH BRISTLES MAY MISHAPE DURING SHIPPING
If your brush bristles become misshapen…
• Allow brushes to sit out overnight or even a few days to return to original shape.
• Use gentle heat, not boiling water or a heat gun.
• Best method: hot-water reshape
• Heat water until it's very hot but not boiling—roughly 150–170°F is plenty.
• Dip only the synthetic bristles into the water for about 20–30 seconds. Don’t soak the wooden brush body.
• Remove it and immediately shape the bristles inward with your hands while they're warm.
• Wrap a rubber band or strip of fabric around the bristles so they're held in their proper shape.
• Let the brush cool completely and dry while restrained. Leave it several hours or overnight.
• Once cooled, most nylon/polypropylene-type bristles will retain the corrected shape.
• For just a few bent bristles: a hair dryer on medium heat works well. Warm them from several inches away while gently pushing them back into position, then hold them there until they cool.
• Never use a heat gun. Bristles will melt!!!
